The Rosette disc
This disc includes the image of the Rose Window of the Cathedral of Notre-Dame de Chartres in France.
This Gothic cathedral is the most complete and best preserved in France.
The large rose window has a diameter of 13,36 meters, it is one of the largest in the world.

Inspired by an 800 year old shape
Here I design an antenna disk inspired by a spiritual motif that was drawn 800 years ago on a 32 mm diameter disk. This disk has two faces that are identical. We can find the circular lobed shapes in the labyrinth motif.

A contemporary form, the magnetron
This resonant cavity shape has been used since 1940 in the design of the magnetron.
The magnetron is a device that transforms the kinetic energy of electrons into electromagnetic energy, in the form of microwaves. The electrons are emitted at the center and are deflected in a spiral path in the resonant cavities.
This technology is used in radars and household microwaves.

Resonating and amplifying cavities
The parallel between the magnetron and the forms composing the rosette seems to show us that we have here a form made to amplify what will cross it. This shape is present in most cathedrals. We also find inside the domes located on the ceilings, acoustic cavities acting here also as resonators.

Maintenance
The bracelet is water resistant, you can bathe with it without problems.
You can remove the disk from the bracelet to wipe the inside, in case you have fogging.
The bracelet can also be cleaned with soapy water.
