The stimulation cone is a very important accessory which constitutes Phryll's generator. This part must be adapted to the size of the Vogel crystal that will be stimulated by the pulse generator. For optimal Phryll production, the crystal must vibrate while being as close as possible to the stimulation cone without touching it.
In the previous article I describe and share the file for making a cone for a crystal of size M1 (26-33). Here I present a slightly larger cone of size M2 (29-39), for a larger crystal.

Crystal compatibility with M2 size cone

A Vogel crystal suitable for the M2 cone size must have:

• a maximum diameter of 29 mm at its peak (60° tip)
• a maximum diameter of 39 mm at its base (52° tip)

These 2 values ​​must be less than or equal to these. For example:

• If you have 26mm at the top and 39mm at the bottom = OK for M2 cone
• If you have 28mm at the top and 40 mm down = NO
• If you have 26mm top and 33mm bottom = OK for M2 cone, but more suitable for M1

The length criterion is less critical, the M2 cone is optimized for a crystal length of 120 mm. However, if it is longer or shorter, it will fit correctly into the cone without touching it.

To check if your crystal is compatible with an M2 cone, perform the following steps:

• download and print the M2 cone template in Pdf
• cut out the two circles of 29 and 39 mm
• check that the bottom and top of your crystal pass through the circles

Suitable for large pyramid support

This M2 sized stimulation cone is suitable for a Vogel crystal stand in large pyramid V3.
You can then connect the stimulation cone to a pulse generator to obtain a Phryll generator.
